Mary is a certified Pilates teacher who has owned and operated her studio for 17 years in Ohio. Prior to her Pilates career, she worked in Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She is currently living in Seaside Park and is excited to teach Pilates classes.
What is Pilates? Pilates is an unique system of stretching and strengthening exercises that tones muscles, improves posture, provides flexibility and balance, unites body and mind, and creates a more streamlined shape with flattened abdominals. This class is a perfect introduction to Pilates. We will focus on Pilates concepts and principles, while developing a strong inner core, lean muscles, and improving flexibility through the spine and joints. Mary aspires to teach Pilates with focus, clarity, and compassion. Her aim is to instruct in a clear and thoughtful manner, and it is her wish that clients come to understand the significance and benefits of Pilates.
